ATSIP Safest Driver Contest

Learn how technology is helping make roads, drivers, and pedestrians safer

Safer driving through technology

Safest Driver is a safe driving program built for cities and states to reduce risky driving. It includes a consumer driving app, engagement features for behavior change engagement, and driving data analytics.

The app uses smartphone sensor data to identify risky behaviors like speeding, hard braking, harsh acceleration, and distracted driving. It calculates driving scores, offers personalized feedback, and rewards safe behaviors.
