To better align with their public safety initiatives and pledges, municipalities work with CMT to host regional safe driving contests. Based in an engaging telematics app developed by CMT, contests create a unique communication platform for municipalities to raise awareness of risky driving behaviors and reduce them. In 2019 alone, Rhode Island, Seattle, Boston, and Los Angeles gave their residents the opportunity to win cash prizes for exhibiting the safest driving behaviors.
