Amica Insurance announces winners of Rhode Island’s Safest Driver contest [Yahoo Finance!]
LINCOLN, R.I.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–To encourage safer driving in Rhode Island, and to gain insight into how telematics can
influence driving behavior, Amica Insurance partnered with Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) to launch Rhode Island’s Safest Driver contest and mobile app. The 10-week contest, which ran from Jan. 28 through April 7, was open to all eligible Rhode Island residents, who competed for top spots on leaderboards and $40,000 in cash prizes.
Last week, those prizes were awarded to the top three winners in two categories – Overall Safest Driver and Least Distracted Driver. Here are the winners:
Overall Safest Driver
First place: Nicholas DeMoranville
Second place: Katherine Miller
Third place: Kenneth Gebhardt
Least Distracted Driver
First place: JoAnn Benda
Second place: David Smith
Third place: Domenic Gianfrancesco
