Wuerttembergische Versicherung will soon be offering a telematics-based insurance solution for policyholders under the age of 30. In collaboration with British multinational telecommunications company Vodafone Automotive, the German insurer will offer a telematics app starting July that can score drivers, rate trips, and offer safety tips on how to improve driving behavior. Note. Vodafone Automotive is the name for Cobra following Vodafone’s acquisition of the Cobra Group in August 2014. It’s a combo of Cobra’s 40 year heritage in vehicle security and telematics and Vodafone’s telecoms know-how.
