Tara Casanova Powell Joins Cambridge Mobile Telematics Road Safety Advisory Board

Powell brings over 25 years of expertise in road safety

August 6, 2024, Cambridge, MA — Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT), the world’s largest telematics service provider, announced today the appointment of Tara Casanova Powell to its Road Safety Advisory Board. Casanova Powell, CEO of the Association of Transportation Safety Information Professionals (ATSIP) and Principal of Casanova Powell Consulting, brings over 25 years of road safety expertise to the board.

Throughout her distinguished career, Powell has led impactful initiatives in traffic safety, including roles as Program Coordinator for the Annual Lifesavers National Conference on Roadway Safety Priorities and as a Research Consultant for organizations like Acusensus, the Governors Highway Safety Association, and the American Bar Association. She serves as Chair of the Impairment in Transportation Committee at the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, and is the founder of the International Council on Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Safety Impaired Driving Behavioral Intervention Working Group.
